Whether your project is historic building conservation, new building development or extension, our award-winning craftsmen will cut and dress the stone to your specific requirements, blending old with new for stunning results.
Our team of craftsmen, lime mortar repair and pointing specialists have been employed by Campbell & Smith for many years, and we are committed to preserving these traditional skills by investing in the apprenticeship programme to continue cultivating our built heritage.

Edinburgh New Town residential listed properties at 34-38 Montgomery Street and 29-31 Windsor Street, originally designed by William Playfair.
Repairs and Replacements to existing roof, chimneys, front, rear and gable facades, including stone cut out and replacement dressings, pointing, rebuilding chimneys in natural stone, pitched roof slating, lead gutters, Watergates and flashings, replacement of cast iron gutters and down pipes. Comprehensive design support and access scaffolding to carry out the works was also required.
